Education
I graduated from Wilkes University in 2013 with a major in History and a minor in Secondary Education. I received my bachelor's degree in the arts. I graduated with a 3.3 GPA, having made the Dean's list two separate semesters, and as a member of the National History Honor's Society. I worked very closely with my professors in order to sharpen my writing/research skills, and also to become an effective educator.
Experience
After graduating Wilkes University I became a Board of Education certified Social Studies teacher. I then accepted a job overseas in Malaysia at Sri Utama International School. I spent two years teaching Social Studies, English, and Writing to international students. During my time at Sri Utama, I also set up after school programs, including supplementary English and writing sessions.
