Experience
I am an educator with experience helping students. I tutor in algebra, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, pre-calculus, reading, writing, English, and other subjects. I specialize tutoring in math but I would love to help out students in other areas of study. I have two degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. I've also received my Mid Level Mathematics teaching certification. I'm passionate about teaching and I plan to continue growing as an educator. I hope to eventually get my master's. I'm experienced working with students, as I tutored elementary school kids during my time as an undergraduate and I currently work as a substitute teacher for the Scranton School District. I never teach all of my students in the same way. Every student learns differently, and it's important as an educator to have an arsenal of approaches to teaching so that you may address the individual needs of each child. In my spare time I enjoy throwing around a Frisbee, playing in my local football and softball leagues, and practicing yoga outside.
